ORGANISATION

SRT’S MAIN AREA OF EXPERTISE IS ROLLING STOCK PRODUCTION AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES. TWO HIGHLY SPECIALISED DIVISIONS HANDLE THESE FUNDAMENTAL SECTORS OF ITS CORE BUSINESS.

THE OPERATIONAL DIVISION

This is a team of designers who produce optimised technical solutions, to create high quality rolling stock able to meet any client need.

The production team has dedicated departments for railway equipment and vehicles, with the proper tools and understanding of all the sectors involved: from carpentry to systems.

SRT parts and components are supplied by a specialised outsourcer, under the company’s direct supervision, though structured training, monitoring, inspection and tests. This allows SRT to greatly increase its production capacity without sacrificing quality.

The SRT organisational framework means that every phase of the production process is managed in-house, from design to after-sales assistance.

THE MAINTENANCE DIVISION

Organises maintenance, commissioning and after-sales assistance. Dynamic, adaptable technical staff ensure rapid, efficient service for clients. SRT is authorised to ensure safety in rolling stock, both that registered with the NVR and with the Italian Machinery Registry of Work Vehicles (RUMO).

The company has links with controlling and inspecting organisations such as the Italian National Railways Safety Agency (ANSF), the Italian Railway Network (RFI) and the Regional Agency for Environmental Protection (ARPAM), and is constantly up to date on sector regulations.
